Developmental Pediatrics Physician

To meet the needs of the region's children and provide seamless, high quality, comprehensive pediatric care close to home for the children & families of Northern Virginia, Inova Children's Service Line has recently enlarged its ambulatory network of subspecialists. We are seeking a qualified physician to join our rapidly-growing team of pediatric specialists as part of the Division of Developmental Pediatrics.

Responsibilities and Practice Details:

• Home to programs caring for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, including cognitive, motor, social, and behavioral needs
• As part of a team of developmental pediatricians, geneticists, psychologists and allied health professionals the development of the Inova Children's Autism Center.
• Programs and services also include Neurodevelopmental follow-on programs for infants born extremely premature and children who have undergone cardiac surgery or ECMO.
• Developmental Pediatrics patients seen in Fairfax, Virginia (proximity to Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital) and via telemedicine.
• Supports learners as part of Inova Fairfax Pediatric Residency Program

Our state-of-the-art Pediatric Multispecialty Ambulatory Practice at Willow Oaks is home to thirteen pediatric specialties, with an additional six specialties ramping up in the next 12-18 months. This practice is across the street from Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital, a 226-bed children's hospital at Inova Fairfax Hospital medical campus, located in Northern Virginia. Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital is the only dedicated children's hospital in Northern Virginia.
